Overview & What We Do

We have a wide variety of artifacts that can be customized towards any particular area of history. The younger children seem to like a whole overview, but as they get older, we can focus on a particular area of history. As an example, the children might be learning about Native American history and we can gear the presentation towards the subject.

We provide handouts that provides information about the objects/artifacts they were presented (and held!) Handouts are also available on this website and can be downloaded, saved, and/or printed.

We have some very kind individuals that contribute items such as a book (usually the writer of the book) and/or a poster for the classroom.

The presentation can be however long you would like or as short as you need. Don’t hesitate to just let us know your parameters. Typically, we have several pieces of similar items, which makes it easier for the pieces to make their way around the class. We have found it best to place the kids in a “U” shape and take a seat on the ground. Despite delivery many presentations, every presentation is still part of the learning process for us as well to keep making the programs better.

If you are interested in having us in, just use the contact information below. We understand there is a curriculum, so 20 to 30 minutes of time is the average range of time that we are in the classroom.
